Yossi Shussman, CEO
Yossi has 15 years of experience in the hi-tech and financial industries. He started his career in 1993 as a system architect and Product Line Manager of Scorpio Communications, a startup that developed ATM switching platforms that was acquired in 1996 by U.S. Robotics. In 1997, Yossi co-founded and served as Vice President R&D of Chromatis Networks, a startup that developed an integrated metro WDM – SONET/SDH – data platform and an associated Network Management System (NMS) for the Local Exchange Carrier market. Chromatis was acquired in June 2000 by Lucent Technologies for $4.75b. In 2003, Yossi founded and was a managing partner of Theta Fund, a hedge fund using a self-developed Volatility Arbitrage strategy. Yossi served as a pilot in the Israeli Air Force, and holds an M.Sc. in physics and a B.Sc. in electrical engineering, both from Tel Aviv University.
Eli Sananes, VP Sales & Business Development
Eli brings twenty years of experience in telecommunications and Hi-Tech industry. He joined Ethos from Seabridge LTD (Nokia-Siemens Networks) where he was VP and head the Mobile-Transport business unit. Prior to that, Eli served as Business Manager for Carrier-Ethernet solutions at Siemens Communications, Munich - pioneering Ethernet transport with tier-1 service providers. Further back, he was Director and Product Manager of Multiservice switching solutions. He joined Seabridge in 2001 from Intel Corp., where he served in various business & operational positions for seven years. He started his Telecommunications career back in 1983 at the IDF as O&M manager of nation-wide network. Eli holds an Executive-MBA degree from Hebrew University, Israel, and a B.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University, Israel.
Hayim Porat, CTO, Co-Founder
Hayim brings to the company more than 10 years of experience in networking, engineering, development and marketing. Prior to co-founding Ethos, Hayim worked for RAD Inc. as a product manager and Optivera Ltd., an optical routing company. Hayim previously held various management positions at Schneider Electric Israel, serving most recently as manager of engineering dept. Before joining Schneider Electric, Hayim served in project management and development roles at the Israeli Air Force. Mr. Porat holds an BScEE degree from Technion Haifa and MBA degree from Tel Aviv University.
Yossi Saad, VP Marketing
Yossi Saad brings to Ethos over 22 years of experience in marketing, product management and system engineering of telecom transport and access solutions. Prior to joining Ethos Networks, Yossi served as VP Products in RADVISION, a leader of Video over IP solutions. before, Yossi was Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for Actelis Networks, the leader in Carrier Ethernet over Copper, where he led the company’s products strategy and evolution towards a leading position in the Carrier Ethernet Market. Yossi also served in similar executive positions in ADC Teledata, and Telrad Telecommunications. Yossi holds a B.Sc. (Cum Laude) in Electrical Engineering from Technion and a M.Sc. in Communications Systems Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Uri Avimor, VP Research and Development
Uri Avimor brings to Ethos twenty years of experience in R&D. Prior to joining Ethos, Uri was the founder and VP R&D of CeRoma Ltd., a start-up company that designs system-on-a-chip for digital TV. Prior to CeRoma, Mr. Avimor served as a director of hardware and project manager at Atrica Inc.., a leading provider of optical Ethernet solutions for the metro. In this role, Mr. Avimor managed a team of twenty-five engineers that designed Atrica’s carrier-class switches. Prior to Atrica, he worked for Lannet Data Communication which was acquired by Madge Networks. At Madge Mr. Avimor led the development of Token-ring switches. Madge was later acquired by Lucent Technologies where Mr. Avimor took the role of project manager developing an Ethernet switch system. Mr. Avimor holds an Electronic Practical Engineering degree from Tel Aviv University.
Adam Dunsky, Co-Founder
Adam brings to Ethos more than eight years of experience in development, management and marketing. Prior to joining the team, he served as Vice president for Business development and marketing at Optivera, a start-up developing optical signaling solutions. Prior to Optivera, Adam worked at Comverse Network Systems, where he was responsible for managing alliance relations and intra divisional projects and as VP R&D with Comfy, a computer integrated platform for toddlers. Mr. Dunsky holds a LLB degree from Tel Aviv University.
Leora Fountain, VP Human Resources
Leora brings to Ethos fourteen years of experience in Operations and Human Resources roles within the High Tech Industry. Her experience includes International Management of Logistics and Customer Service, Leadership & Organizational Development consultant and Global Staffing. In her last role she served as Senior HR Manager for Motorola Israel and University Relations Manager for Motorola EMEA. Her previous companies include Lannet, Madge Networks & Scitex/Creo. Ms. Fountain holds Masters Degree in Behavioral Science from Tel-Aviv University and is certified in Human Resources Management by the Israeli Management Institute.
